Super Duplex Steel Buttweld Fittings are composed of a combination of approximately 50% austenitic and 50% ferritic stainless steel. This dual-phase structure provides enhanced strength and exceptional resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion. Key elements include chromium (20-22%), molybdenum (3-5%), and nickel (4-6%), which contribute to the alloy’s outstanding corrosion resistance. The mechanical properties of Super Duplex Steel include a tensile strength of 750-1000 MPa and a yield strength of 500 MPa, ensuring excellent durability and performance in harsh environments such as offshore, chemical, and petrochemical industries.

Our super duplex steel buttweld fittings are crafted from high-alloy stainless steels such as UNS S32750 and S32760, which contain around 24-26% chromium, 6-8% nickel, 3-5% molybdenum, and added nitrogen for improved resistance. We keep carbon levels low (usually ≤0.05%) to minimize carbide precipitation, while closely monitoring trace elements like silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, and copper. Mechanically, these fittings boast high yield strength (0.2% offset) in the range of approximately 550-600 MPa, with ultimate tensile strength reaching up to 750-800 MPa or more, and elongation around 15-25%. We control their hardness to prevent brittleness while ensuring they remain robust in service.
We provide products that come with both mill test certificates and third-party test certificates, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
